God is ever present!!

In stillness, in chaos, in the extra ordinary and the mundane,God is always there; always present!

Slow down and bring prayer to your day; take a moment to sit still and take some slow deep breaths!
As you breath in, think about all the good things in your life; that have been part of your day, things that you enjoyed; food, blessings, beauty, acts of kindness~breathe in the good things and thank God for them!
As you breathe out think of all the bad things and breathe them out~the frustrations, worry, heart break, pain, grief of the day; giving them to God.

Leave ALL your worries and anxieties with God for he cares for you!!

We women!!!!!!!

We women have strengths that amaze,
we can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
We hold happiness,love and opinions
We smile when we feel like screaming
Sing when we want to cry
Cry when we are happy
and laugh when we are afraid
Our love to our children is unconditional
The only thing wrong with us~
We sometimes forget what we are worth
and how strong we are!!
The power is within us!!

Get up and continue with your journey of life!!

Life does not always turn out exactly as we want it or as we expected it to.
Once in a while life may give you a blow from which you think you cannot recover.
But if you still have breadth in you always reel back and continue fighting.
Fighting by getting up and continuing with your journey of life!!
For yesterday is not today and today is not tomorrow...
Each day rises fresh from the hands of God bringing with it what it will
So get up and continue growing where you are planted because you are there for a perfect reason and season.
And again the pressure created by the challenges we face becomes the fuel that propels us to find out our true purpose in life.

And our primary purpose is to worship God in spirit and in truth.

And our secondary purpose is to use our gifts and talents to bless others by exploiting all our potential
So today...get up and continue with your journey of life!

Be still!!!

Be still.
Slow me down O Lord.
Teach me the art of creating islands of stillness,
in which i can absorb the beauty of everyday things: clouds, trees, music, flowers...
Prompt me to lift up my heart to you in a moment of thankfulness!
Impress upon my mind that there is more to life than packing every moment with activity and
help me to fence in some part of my day with quietness.
Please talk to me and help me to listen,
so that i take your peace rather than my confusion and anxiety back with me
into the hurly-burly of a hurting world!
Slow me down Lord and let me...
be still!!!

Love is...

...being happy for the other person when they are happy; being sad for the other person when they are sad; being together in good and bad times.Love is the source of strength.
...being honest with yourself at all times, being honest with the other person at all times, telling, listening, respecting the truth and never pretending.Love is the source of reality.
...an understanding that is complete, you feel as if you are a part of the other person.Love is the source of compatibility.
...accepting the other person as they are and not trying to change them to something else.Love is the source of unity.
...the freedom to pursue your own desires while sharing your experiences with the other person.Love is the source of growth.
...the growth of one individual alongside of and together with the growth of another individual.Love is the source of success.
...the excitement of planning things together .Its the listening to each others ideas.Love is the source of the future.
...the fury of the storm, the calm in the rainbow, the stillness in the snow, the coolness in the summer.Love is the source of passion.
...giving and taking daily; being patient with each other's needs and desires. Taking the time to listen.Love is the source of sharing.
...knowing that the other person will always be with you regardless of what happens to you.Love is the source of assurance.
...missing the other person when they are away but remaining near in heart at all times.Love is the source of life itself.

My Daily Mirror!

• I will live each day as fully and as confidently as i can and let God take care of the rest.

• I will be unafraid of life and death; unafraid to enjoy the beautiful and the happy.

• I will realize that am part of mankind as a whole &  know that as i give to the world so the world will give me.

• I will accept responsibility for my acts and decisions and i will not blame someone else when things go wrong.

• I will not automatically resent criticism because i realize that it may contain a suggestion for improving myself.

• I will not loose my temper readily or find fault with "every little thing" including the nitty gritty.

• I will keep my head up in emergencies and deal with them reasonably and with due and urgent consideration.
• I will accept reasonable delays without impatience realizing that i must adjust myself to the convenience of others.
• I will not worry unnecessarily about things i cannot change or do anything about.
• I will not boast or "show off" but when am praised or complimented i will accept with grace and appreciation.
• I will rejoice in the good fortune and success of others without petty unnecessary jealousy or envy.
• I will respect and listen politely to the opinions of others even when they hold opposing views.
• I will make reasonable plans for my activities and try to carry them out in an orderly way or manner.
• I will find time to relax; time to think about God; time to reflect on my values and get a better perspective of  myself God helping me!

The Perfect Friend!

Lord God you are the perfect friend!
Other friends may misunderstand me or let me down,
but you never ever let me down; you never disappoint me.
When am in need of help or encouragement;
You always have the right words for the situation;
You understand me completely and perfectly.
There is not a thought in my mind or an intention in my heart;
that you are not aware of.
Am never alone; because you are always there beside me.
Neither day nor night; distance nor circumstances can ever separate us.

In your total knowledge you can lead me in a path of absolute safety;
and so i can follow you with complete surrender and confidence.
When you point out my faults; you do it with love~
That love to me is a sweet aroma; its like the sunshine;
that lights up the world on a spring morning dispelling the gloom and chill of the winter.
You bring joy and peace into my life;
You are my friend!
I give you thanks and praise you oh Lord!!

Be buoyed by Hope!

It is better to have been buoyed up by hope;
the horizons limitless; than to have lived in the gray world of timid fearfulness!
The course of the world is changed by those who dare to dream.
Life does not always turn out exactly as we want!
No one is hopeless whose hope is in God.
When trouble seeks to rob your every breath;
When tragedy hit hard and steals your joyful days
Recall that Christ endured the sting of death;
He gives us hope and merits all our praise
So let hope carry you through and when you feel you have reached the end of the road;
Tie a knot; a knot of hope and hang on!Better days are coming!

We are safe in His Care!

When burdens seem unbearable,
and life seems unfair,
we must remember God knows all 
and we are in his safe care!

He never gives more than we can bear;
though sometimes it seems or feels so.
all the desperation and frustration
all the stress and all the pain
the tears and the disappointment
will eventually go away!

So if we place out trust in God;
to ease our weary day
and put the sunshine back into our lives
The clouds will go away
for behind every dark cloud is a very silver lining!
No life is ever free of pain;
But we should always remember that we are safe in His care!

What a comfort!

What a comfort it is to know that God's power can thwart the wicked and protect the righteous!
I sure can trust a God like that~Our Maker,  Our Defender, Our Redeemer and Our Friend!
In a world of very many superlatives, God is the greatest!
If God be for us;  who then can be against us?

Of wicked men and evil talk; God says we must beware!
Lest they beguile us with their ways and catch us in there snare~
For if you're not on guard against evil, you will be influenced by evil~

But it is such a comfort to know that we serve a faithful God,
Whose mercies are brand new every single morning!
When you see the sun rise just know that with that is a brand new package of new mercy just for you!
His grace is extremely sufficient~that is a great comfort!

So when the whole week,month or year tries to attack you at once or in a single day;
just be comforted by the promises of our God and trust Him to carry you through!
That is such a comfort!
